Jerry Tapley

Chief Operational Officer

Jerry Tapley began his work at the Federation of Neighborhood Centers as Director of Program Innovation/Performance Management in October of 2009 and was promoted to the Chief Operational Officer.  Previously, Jerry worked with JEVS Human Services for nearly 11 years as program director for four Welfare to Work programs, Director of Staff Development, and most recently as Director of Employment Services.  In 2008 Jerry was presented the Jodi Spiegel Enhancement of Customer Service Award by the National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP), Washington, DC. 

Jerry is a popular speaker and trainer for professional conferences, conventions, colleges and universities as well as an accomplished staff development facilitator.  Jerry attended Samford University, Birmingham, Alabama with a B.A. in American History, Religion and Philosophy and also attended Southern Theological Seminary of Louisville, Kentucky.
