Federation Programs
Through its members across the city of Philadelphia, the Federation delivers services throughout 45 Philadelphia neighborhoods that
affect over 100,000 lives.
The Federation programs are both citywide and national in scope and cover the following areas:
Youth Development
Work Readiness
Parent Development
Performance Management
Youth Development
Teens 4 Good
This program provides students with hands-on entrepreneurial activities through a teen-run gardening, nutrition and health business.
Youth Development
Urban Sustainability Leadership Academy
An after school program for high school students whose primary goal is to create life-long learners who have the character, knowledge, skills and desire to continually cultivate what is best within themselves, their communities and the world at large.
Work Readiness
Green Job Readiness Partnership (GJRP)
This pilot project brings together the Sustainable Business Network, the Federation of Neighborhood Centers and three of its member agencies and the City of Philadelphia to ensure low-skilled adults have access to well-paying jobs and advancement opportunities in this emerging industry.
Parent Development
Parent EmPower
This program increases parents' awareness of the physical and emotional needs of children and helps them adopt positive parenting practices.
Youth Development
Greater Philadelphia BEST
This program provides Professional Development Services for front line Youth Workers and their Supervisors in Positive Youth Development.
